Annual Scholarships are awarded by AFCC (International) and AFCC-O (Ontario Chapter) to selected applicants to subsidize attendance at their conferences. Preference for scholarships is given to AFCC/AFCC-O members, although anyone may apply. If you are not a member and would like to join, please refer to Benefits of AFCC Membership on AFCC’s website, and click on Join Today. Please remember to add the AFCC Ontario Chapter to your membership when you register. All Ontario Chapter memberships are managed through the AFCC website.
Scholarship recipients are not the only beneficiaries of AFCC-Ontario and AFCC (International) scholarship funds. Colleagues and courts in their communities, as well as children and families enmeshed in conflict, also benefit. Scholarship recipients take advantage of networking opportunities and state-of-the-art training that are the hallmark of all AFCC conferences. Scholarship recipients include parenting coordinators, child custody evaluators, court services personnel, social workers, lawyers, mediators, graduate students and others who work with children and families.
AFCC scholarships include but are not limited to: Conference registration fees, welcome reception, awards luncheon, annual banquet, and certificates of attendance.
