Effective Strategies in Working with High Conflict Personalities

Howard Hurwitz, MSW, RSW, AccFM, will present a workshop on effective strategies in managing high conflict personalities. Howard has developed a checklist of tips for working with this very challenging population. While much of these ‘tips’ are useful within the context of a child custody dispute, they are useful in any type of challenging case situation.  Howard will provide a handout with these ‘tips’ are review specific case examples where they have been effective at remediating conflict and preventing client complaints to  professional bodies such as the College of Social Workers, College of Psychologists and the Law Society of Ontario.
